2. Origin is useful, but it is an opinion
Sri Lankan (Ceylon) yellow sapphire is traditionally priced above Bangkok or African material of the same size. Origin is a laboratory opinion and many standard reports leave it out. If you are asked to pay an origin premium, the origin should be written on the report or listing.
3. Treatment: heated or unheated
