Ujjain Abhimantrit Rudraksha

Ujjain Abhimantrit Rudraksha — every bead in this collection is energised (abhimantrit) through rituals and mantra-jaap performed in Ujjain, the city of the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga on the banks of the Kshipra. X-ray tested, lab certified, and dispatched ready to wear. During Sawan 2026, prepaid orders additionally join the Sawan Somvar group Rudrabhishek sankalp.

What is an Abhimantrit Rudraksha?

Abhimantrit means consecrated. In tradition, a new Rudraksha is not worn straight from the packet — it is first cleansed and given pran-pratishtha through mantra and ritual. Every bead in this collection has already been through that process: energised through rituals and mantra-jaap performed in Ujjain, then X-ray tested and certified before dispatch. What reaches you is ready to wear from day one — no separate vidhi required.

The range

The collection spans the everyday 5 Mukhi and 6 Mukhi to rare high-mukhi collector beads — the same certified natural Nepali Rudraksha as our main range, with consecration already done.

Why Ujjain matters

Ujjain is one of the seven moksha-puri — the seven cities of liberation in Hindu tradition — and home to the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and the only one facing south (dakshinamukhi). The city has been a centre of Shiva worship, the Kumbh (Simhastha) and Vedic learning for over two millennia. Rituals performed in this kshetra carry a sanctity that devotees have sought for centuries — that is the tradition this collection draws on.

Ujjain Abhimantrit + Sawan Somvar — this season's double blessing

During Sawan 2026 (30 July – 28 August), prepaid orders from this collection also join our Sawan Somvar group Rudrabhishek — performed on each of the four Somvars (3, 10, 17, 24 August) — and the ritual video is shared on WhatsApp. An already-consecrated bead, dispatched in Shiva's own month, energised again through Somvar Rudrabhishek. 1. Do I need to energise this Rudraksha before wearing?

No — abhimantrit beads arrive already consecrated through rituals and mantra-jaap performed in Ujjain. Wear after a bath, ideally on a Monday morning, chanting "Om Namah Shivaya".

2. Is the bead itself different from your regular Rudraksha?

The bead is the same certified natural Rudraksha (X-ray tested, GemTrue/ISO/IGL certificate). The difference is the consecration already performed — you pay for the ritual work, not a different seed.

3. Can I still add a personalised sankalp?

Yes — the personalised Mantra Jaap add-on (your name and gotra) is available at checkout on most listings.

4. Why are some abhimantrit beads priced in lakhs?

High-mukhi Rudraksha (2, 15+ mukhi) are naturally scarce — a handful of genuine beads per harvest — and their price reflects rarity, not the consecration. Every high-value bead ships only after individual X-ray verification.
